Some people suffer from “writer’s block,” yet the biggest reason for not finishing a book usually comes from problems caused by a lack of creative problem solving and the three myths of publishing. Most people feel like they are stuck with only one option; which is writing the book and getting it published all by their self. This option is not appealing, nor is it easy or fast.

The good news is, there is an alternative way for you to write your book with everything you need. Just proactively follow this deviated path and team up with co-authors, and you will find a way that’s fun, fast, and easy!

Here are the three myths of publishing that everyone should rid their minds of.

Myth 1 - Book publishing is hard.

While it is hard if you’re trying to find a literary agent and get a big publisher to give you a $100,000 advance for your book, that is not you’re only option. There is now an better option in which you co-author with someone who already has a New York Publisher that is chomping at the bit, ready to get a book on your topic published and to market. This new way is not hard. In fact, it’s so easy, it’ll be just like slicing warm butter with a knife.

Myth 2 - Publishing a book takes a long time.

This might be true from your point of view, because it takes an average time of about two and a half years to write a book and get it published. When your topic is hot now that seems like forever, or in order to land that big job you needed to have the credibility of being an author yesterday! But the time to complete the book and get it published is a matter of months, not years, if you choose to co-author with an ongoing project that needs your area of expertise. In fact, you could measure your part in hours; it can be so fast.

Myth 3 - Publishing a book is not any fun.

This is probably the worst offender of all, because it keeps your creativity locked up inside. Again, you don’t need to allow that to happen if you partner with other co-authors and let your imaginations take over and let your spirits run wild. This is especially true when you create a bestselling business out of the information from your book and earn a passive income that pays you monthly. In that case, writing a book with others could be the best experience of your life.

ACTION POINT: Don’t let the three publishing myths by choosing the option that allows you to write a book and get it published fast and easy. Even better, by co-authoring on a book project that is part of a bestselling business with others, there is a very good chance that you’ll make a lot of money too, which makes it all the more fun!
